For too long, community engagement in the neighborhood has dwindled. The time is now to turn the tide of ambivalence and raise our expectations of what Coles Crossing can be as we secure the investments in our homes through better governance and servant leadership.
Our leaders will:
Maintain Coles Crossing as a “First Choice” neighborhood, where young families move to raise and educate their children and establish lasting roots
Espouse the core values of professionalism, transparency, and accountability and expect servant leaders - a leadership philosophy built on the belief that the most effective leaders strive to serve others, rather than accrue power or take control
Focus on our greatest strengths – and the reasons why many of us moved to Coles – Sampson Elementary, our trees and trails
Invest in and upgrade our amenities as needed in a fiscally responsible way
